Greenies® Lite™

Greenies TeeniesIt's Saturday, and I've been enjoying myself with a little online shopping. I enjoy online shopping, it's so easy and convenient! When we visited my sister last Christmas she gave Theo a green little dental chew, which he seemed to really enjoy. Back home we were excited to find them at our local pet store, so we kept buying them for Theo.

Since our local pet store has stopped selling these little treats, I decided to see if I could order them online instead. On Amazon.com I hit jackpot, and I ordered a canister holding 96 ct for $22.99 plus shipping - which would be about 134,- NOK with today's exchange rate. A real bargain! Unfortunately I didn't notice that they had two different kinds of the same treat, one being low on calories, so I ended up buying a canister of the new enhanced Lite™ instead of the regular one.

One of my biggest fears when it comes to animals is anesthetizing them. I hate it, and I'm always afraid of being told that "something happened" during the procedure. I feel so sorry for them when they're waking up, all groggy, nauseous, dizzy and cold. Dogs need to go to the veterinarian every once in a while to have plaque removed, but we're striving to keep their teeth as clean as possible for as long as we can. I refuse to have them anesthetized unless it's absolutely necessary. Greenies® are a nice little tool in the fight against plaque and dental problems. They're easy to digest, rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals - and best of all.. Theo absolutely loves them!
