English? Norwegian? English!

In English, let's make it a habit!

There's nothing I'd rather do than listen to my readers, but I've lost my inspiration to write after switching from English to Norwegian. I don't know how to put my thoughts into words in my own language. Pretty sad, huh? It's been 2.5 months of blogging in Norwegian and all I have to show for it is a mere 21 posts. I haven't seen any changes in my statistics, I actually seem to have less readers now then when I was writing in English. I haven't had any new commentators, or even more feedback than before and I don't see any reason why I should keep making it difficult for myself. So I have decided to go back to blogging in English and I hope that those of you who might be new followers will stick by me.

To all my readers; I adore and appreciate every single one of you! Thank you so much for following me through thick and thin, it means a lot to me. If you have any suggestions, wishes, ideas or anything else you'd like to share with me - drop me a comment, or send me an e-mail.

Dilemma!?

I've written this post like a million times now, or maybe.. just five, but this is a hard one. I guess the poll speaks for itself, people would like me to go back to writing my posts in Norwegian. I'll leave the poll open for another day, so if you disagree you'll have a chance to influence the result. I guess this basically means what I was afraid of; most people haven't bothered reading my posts because of my choice of language, and to me it feels kind of sad. Long time ago, when I first started blogging (or keeping an online diary) I wrote purely for myself, as a way of letting off some steam whenever I needed to calm myself down. Obviously that changed somewhere along the line, and now I find myself wanting more readers, more feedback in the form of comments and interaction.

Unless something extraordinary happens by tomorrow, my next post will be in Norwegian with a smaller English «blurb» or summary at the end. Worst case scenario? Having to go back to blogging in English. No biggie. So I hope you'll keep on following me, I'll do my very best to accommodate everyone.
