Fingerless Gloves

It might be a while since I blogged about crocheting, but I haven't been slacking. I've made flowers, snowflakes, a hat and even these fingerless gloves, which are my latest creation. They are pink. Hot pink. And I still hate pink. Go figure! At the moment I'm giving my arms a well earned break from crocheting, but I'm always planning my next project. I've put the hat and scarf on hold for a while, and I think I'll do another pair of fingerless gloves in another, more wearable color. I also need to figure out how to make my pattern fit normal arms and hands, not just my sticks.

When I made these I followed the instructions in a random video I stumbled upon through YouTube. Unfortunately it didn't have a corresponding written pattern, and I somewhat redesigned them to fit my own idea of a fingerless glove. I'm not all pleased with the outcome, so I might have to do a few smaller adjustments. Hopefully I'll be able to jot down some kind of pattern when I'm done.

I chose DROPS Merino Extra Fine no. 17 and a 5.50mm hook, which made them just thick and warm enough to wear outside on a cold winter day without being bulky.

  1. Utrolig fine!

Smile Tusen takk for tips!
