Jack Frost, how I loathe thee!

I shouldn't have mentioned Jack Frost yesterday, because today he arrived. In all his glory, and then some. Looking out the windows is depressing, although the fuzzballs seem to love the 'awesomely fun white substance' suddenly covering everything. This is Felix' first experience with snow, and just like his brother Cuda he's absolutely fearless - as opposed to Theo, who seems to think he's beyond staying outside if the weather is anything less than pre-tropical. Cold and wet paws? Totally unacceptable.

Yesterday we purchased a new stove, and I'm head-over-heels in love with it. As I tweeted late last night, I guess I'm entitled to call myself a grownup when I get all excited about a stove, no? My darling big brother paid part of it as a housewarming gift, and my parents also gave us a new upright freezer. Awesomeness! We're still living in a hot mess, it'll take a few more days to get everything into place, but we're slowly getting there. Now dinner's cooking, courtesy of my brother, and I'm waiting for Øyvind to come home with more boxes to empty out.

Smile
