And the year is 2010

OK, so it's January 1st of a brand new year - and it's the perfect opportunity to finally decide on what to do with my blog, and start writing all my posts in English. I'm not going to translate my Norwegian posts, so if you're unable to read them, well.. then just ignore them.

Apart from that I just want to take the time to wish all my readers and followers a very happy new year, and I hope 2010 will bring you whatever you need the most whether it's happiness, joy, love, prosperity or something completely different. Like many others I'm hoping that 2010 will me much better than 2009, so I'll keep my fingers crossed - for myself, and all of you too.

This year I'll have a little dog, my darling Theo, sharing his unconditional love with me whether I like it or not, making my life much brighter by default. I love having him around, even though I'm not too thrilled when he decides to lick my whole face. I'll watch him grow and mature, transforming into a grown individual with a huge personality, and I'm really looking forward to spending many years with him. Last night he proved that he's not really afraid of anything, as the fireworks and the cannons went off to celebrate the beginning of a new year. He didn't even make a sound, he just carried on his life like usual, no fear or suspicion at all. He's a fearless little creature, and my little ball of fur.

And just to end my new year post, I'm adding a little something especially for my male readers out there, who are complaining about too many makeup and shopping related posts. Enjoy! I hope 2010 will treat you right, and please take care of yourselves, all of you.

Happy New Year

  1. Lol, great photo!

Happy new year, Shamini! May it be all you wish for, and then some Smile

  2. See, I figured there had to be some girls out there who’d appreciate the picture as well as the boys! Wink

Happy New Year, Maria – I hope it’ll turn out just as you want it to be, and thanks for your wishes! Smile

  3. Hmmm. Det nyttårsselskapet du har avbildet der torr jeg ikke jeg hadde hatt godt av å være i….
    Godt nyttår skal du ha!

  4. Godt nyttår til deg også, Geir! Smile

  5. I think it’s sad that you will write all your posts in english.. My mom really likes your blog, and well, she’s not that good in english. Frown

  6. There’s always Google Translate, which will translate it into.. well, readable Norwegian if preferred. It started to get quite messy with some Norwegian posts, some English posts, and then some Norwegian posts again – and since a major part of my posts are about makeup, it was better to stick with English. I might change my mind again, you know me.
