Haul: collective

DHL came to deliver two packages from MyUS today, and I've got a big smile on my face! I finally got my hands on all the items that have been accumulating at my US-address since August! One of them contained candles from Yankee Candle®, and the other one contained some goodies from Sephora! Yes.. once again I caved, and ordered a few things from Sephora. Let me just stress that this happened sometime between August and now, and not recently. I haven't gotten around to place a shipping order before now, as I figured it would be nice to have my stuff before Christmas. I seriously don't understand why we don't have Sephora in Norway, we're missing out on all the fun! The package also held the two M·A·C brushes that I ordered almost 6 months ago, that was damaged the first time I got them - and this time they were in perfect shape. Finally!

    Sephora haul

  • MUFE Matte Eyeshadows in #0, #35 and #116
  • Kat Von D True Romance in "True Love" and "Beethoven"
  • Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Zero
  • Urban Decay 24/7 Super Stash
  • Urban Decay Liquid Liner in Perversion

I've already tried out the UD Liquid Liner since I've heard so much raving about it, and I absolutely love it! It seems a little messy, but it's really not, and it's the easiest eyeliner I've applied until now. I have immense respect for those ladies who have learned to master the skill of successfully applying eyeliner, but the UD Liquid Liner gives me hope that I might be able to get the hang of it someday! UD 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil has been a favorite of mine for quite some time now, and I decided that I needed this black pencil in full size in addition to my little travel sized one from the "Velvet Rope" box. Because I like these as much as I do, I decided to pick up the new "24/7 Super Stash" at the same time. This box is a collection of 9 pencils (Corrupt, Binge, Eldorado, Oil Slick, Zero, Graffiti, Ransom, Rockstar and Stash), whereas 4 of them are exclusive to this collection. I have heard that they will become available with the rest of the 24/7 pencils, but I actually prefer the smaller pencils (0.02oz or 0.5g) unless it's a color I'd use as much as the black Zero. It's also a great opportunity to get to try out other colors without having to splash out a lot of money on the full size ones.

Now, the KVD palettes I don't have much to say about. I adore the look and feel of these palettes! Since I don't really like swatching I won't be posting any from these palettes, but you can find lots and lots by searching on Google or YouTube. Even though they give off a very good first impression I'm sure you're able to find good dupes. None of the colors are that special, but I still like them and the composition of the palettes. So all-in-all, they are certainly not must-haves, but if you want a nice palette with 8 colors, a big mirror and two small brushes (no, not those horrible sponge applicators), then I say go ahead! I'm also a fan of KVD, so I might be a tad biased.

Again, not much to say about the MUFE eyeshadows either. The F&F Sale was the perfect opportunity to get the 3 remaining shadows to complete my MUFE palette, so I wanted the matte white, a good highlighter for my skin tone, and another purple to go with the infamous #92.

    Yankee Candle haul

  • Banana Nut Bread Large Jar Candle
  • Granny Smith Large Jar Candle
  • Macintosh Large Jar Candle
  • Juicy Peach Tea Light Candles
  • Macintosh Scented Hand Sanitizer

Yankee Candle® Banana Nut BreadI have talked about Yankee Candle® before, but it's still my absolute favorite brand when it comes to scented candles. Normally scented candles give me an instant headache, and most of YC's floral scented ones do as well, but I absolutely love their fruit and food fragrances! I once had a chocolate scented one, which I unfortunately can't remember what was called, but whenever I had lit it and someone came to visit, they always asked if I had been baking - presumably hoping that I would say yes, and serve them some delicious chocolate cake. I'm so sad that I can't remember which scent it was, but I cannot find it on YC's website anymore. When I discovered that I could order candles from YC myself and have them shipped to my US address, I was thrilled! I knew it would cost me a little more than.. well, a little.. but these candles are SO worth it, and I ordered some fragrances I hadn't tried before. "Granny Smith" and "Macintosh" naturally both smell like apples. Crisp, tart green and sweet, juicy red apples. Yum! "Banana Nut Bread" instantly reminded me of a banana cake, and I could really feel the texture and taste of walnuts in my mouth as I smelled it. Might sound kinda scary, but I'm pretty sure it'll end up quite high on my list of favorites. "Juicy Peach" was disappointing, possibly because I chose to get it as tea light candles instead of a jar, and the scent was very faint.

    eBay haul

  • Lip Service Gloomy Doom Broken Kitty Hoodie in XS

This hooded jacket is even cuter than I imagined, even though the fabric is a lot thinner than I would have liked it to be. Once again I thought I was a little tinier than I am, so I'm dreading that it's too small. If it turns out to be too small I'll be putting it up for sale here, brand new with the tags still attached and all. See pictures here.

Wink
